SIREN: Medically Discharged VP-2, Historical PK-???. Works under contract, but due to her volatile nature, we've kept a lot of her documents on file in case she becomes a [[ PERSON OF INTEREST ]].

History

SIREN started her engagements at sixteen, obtaining a juvenile criminal record in one of the Core Systems.

In an attempt to clear her criminal record and to get housing, she lied about her age to get into the IMC. She underestimated the amount of indexing that went into their criminal records— upon further checks on her background she was, predictably, laughed out by the recruiter and let off the hook on the pretense that she wouldn’t return. On her way out, she was caught listening in on a conversation and was offered an alluring deal with an under-the-table group that promised to train her— granted, she would have to be on-call with them at all times. She jumped at the opportunity.

At nineteen, she was thrown into a series of intensive experimental training programs alongside other young and prospective soldiers. By placing them in four-person same-sex groups together before pitting them against each other to battle for the combat certification, it ensured that only the best were rising to the top. Her secret weapon was her pre-established real-world experience and training by the alluring deal given to her before beginning the simulation training. With her previous experience and goals in front of her, she flew through training and obtained a combat certification, which landed her in a marketable position within the IMC.

During the battle of Demeter, she was stationed on the IMS Colossus at the age of twenty. She mainly assisted with Blisk’s battle group. Instead of engaging directly with the conflict on Demeter, she took a more strategic position and did callouts for potential risks for Blisk’s group hunting down McAllen and for other pilots that may have been nearby, gaining her callsign SIREN for her strategic placement. The destruction of Demeter cut the fleet off from the Core Systems, and with the destruction of Demeter, many IMC defected to Militia— and took the opportunity to finally adopt Siren into her new identity— with the only identification of her past identity being her juvenile criminal record.

Five years later, the IMC begins hunting down ex-IMC defectors— getting her taste of war and following Blisk into the line of mercenary work, dubbed the Apex Predators, and getting a semblance of what it feels like to have money, stationed as a PK for several years before she settled for a VP position.

  • Developed in an environment of chaos, her sense of morality and judgment is skewed.
  • The IMC and the Apex Predators worked together very closely.
  • Alive during the Titan Wars
  • Abilities

Tales recount SIREN’s uncanny reflexes, unmatched stealth, and a voice that bewitches and disorients. There's documentation of expertise in short blades and a prowess with melee.

  • Visual Disability (Left-Blind). She is functionally half-blind, but ditching her focus in her main eye can let her use her other eye as an interface. Result of risky Apex Predator mission
  • Metal Jaw. Before her medical discharge, a mission gone awry in which Siren did not follow procedure resulted in her jaw being shot off. A strong bite has proved lethal in interrogations and fights, especially when you aim for the juggular.
  • Metal Arm. Aftter her medical discharge and taking of IMC contractor jobs, she seems to have acquired a metal arm. Whether or not she removed her arm herself or got it replaced willingly is not documented in IMC medical documents. An arm blade is prominent in the arm, and works as a data knife.
  • Psychological Analysis

  • Paranoia. With much of her developing life spent with the Apex Predators, it has led to a life of confusion- trading fundamental development for street smarts, survival experience, and a lot of baggage.
  • Narcissism. Disguised as survival instinct. Often praised for her “instinct,” but highly disliked by higher authorities in the IMC.
  • God complex. Entering an interrogation room with her is described as like a switch being flicked- a different part of her emerging- something demented and seeking a show. In her space, she considers herself a god, untouchable.”Pulling her away from an interrogation is like peeling a hangnail.
  • Pathological Liar. Her manipulative tactics against her enemies but also her peers, one could absolutely consider her a liability.
  • Psychopathic Tendencies. Has a psyche for "percetpible" empathy, but doesn’t know how to process her own. Situations that attempt to appeal to her empathy or morality will cause her to react irrational and aggressively. Consider it a loss in control, that she’s being “commanded,” will act violent. More often than not she will accuse those that hinder her progress of “manipulation” and lash out at them. One of the only ways Siren has shown any semblance of empathy is during her interrogations, but it’s masking to get people to talk to her. Do not attempt to hold her down. Do not attempt to trap her. Do not attempt to cage her. A dead solider is better incapacitated than dead, and she will not hesitate to kill.
